Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks
Internet poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with a figure on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays cash equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
