Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick decisions.

It’s also simpler to participate in for a very long time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
