Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the house, unlike most other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more experienced people winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, rookies can take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to wager on for a long time with just a tiny bit of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the house gets 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
