Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes directly to the house. After the bet is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure on par with the original wager. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pays money equal to your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
