Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Internet poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players receive five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a figure on par with the original bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out cash even with your original bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
