Horrible Luck in Poker
For a game where the majority of players rarely consider luck, there are tons of folklore in poker. When you say that an individual was lucky in that poker tournament they won, be careful of how you mention it. For instance, if you mention that you were unlucky, your chances may not change.
Ok, that may sound a bit ubsurd, but poker is a casino game armed with folklores. Did you know that if you’re playing a game with two seperate decks and you are asked to select the deck, you should always choose the deck of cards that is furthest from you? Or, how about If you have a streak of terrible cards, you must hang out on a hankerchief to destroy your terrible luck? It is certainly thought of as good luck to blow through a pack of cards while they are being mixed up.
Some other fascinating poker superstitions are:
- You will be able to alter the run of cards by passing around your chair 3 times.
- The most beneficial position at the poker table looks at the entry.
- The most detrimental spot has its rear to a fireplace.
- When shifting seats, you need to always do so following the clock.
- The worst poker card is the 4 of clubs.
- It is very unfortunate to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
- Fri is a bad day for gambling on cards.
- The thirteenth is also a horrible day, no matter when it falls during the week.
